The "Whizz Bang" workshop introduces participants to the wonderful world of the kaleidoscopic folded fabric blocks that feature in Rachaeldaisy’s award winning quilts.
Workshop will cover 2 different ways of making the circles, a Pine Star circle and a block that features a fabric motif or picture in the center.
Tips and tricks are offered for varying the blocks for different results allowing room for participants to be creative with their work. Participants will create beautiful circles that can then be used in a project of their own design whether it be a quilt, table runner, cushion, bag or even garments. NOTE: There will be some easy homework of folding triangles so class time can be focused on creating beautiful circles.
Skill Level: These techniques are suitable for beginners to learn but are also fabulous for more experienced sewers who would like to try something fun and different.
