"The 1876 CENTENNIAL QUILT" ...with Anne Dawson (IN-PERSON at Ronald United Methodist Church, 17839 Aurora Ave. N., Shoreline)

"After discovering an extraordinary quilt from Connecticut in an online quilt history forum and securing permission from its owner, a quilt group from Northwest Washington began the journey of patterning “The 1876 Centennial Quilt."
This is a 'skill-builder' workshop, about patchwork piecing on the machine. Create several blocks, using a variety of cutting and sewing techniques…ways to make templates, sew Y-seams, curves, circles, plus much more!
Purchase of “The 1876 Centennial Quilt Project” is not required for this one-day workshop. The required Kit ($20) includes: all instructions, patterns, templates and fabric to make four (4) blocks.” For the ‘traditionalist to the modernist’...make it your own!!
